Lawson

I went to see Lawson last night (Saturday night) with my best friend Emily. I thought I would write a post about what I wore to the concert, how I did my make-up and of course the actual concert itself!

Clothes

Firstly I'm going to write about my clothes. I wore my blue skinny jeans, a pink top, a black cardigan and my black ankle boots (aka my babies) which you can see in this post. I also took a simple black cardigan as it's still quite cold outside! My last post was about my handbag and what I had in it but that handbag wasn't really appropriate for a concert where I was packed into a small space, so I took a small cross body handbag with my phone, purse and camera in (I wasn't really too bothered about make-up touch ups etc).

For my make up I did quite a lot. I didn't put foundation on because I don't like wearing foundation as I feel like my skin is clogged up. I applied  Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder to my face to cover any blemishes using a bare minerals brush. I used Max Factor Earth Spirits Eye-shadow lightly on my eyelids using the other brush in the picture (don't know where its from!) and then Collection 2000 Fast Stroke Eyeliner and Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash Mascara. I left my lips natural as my eyes were quite dark.You can see my reviews of the powder, eyeliner and mascara here. I put quite a lot of make-up on because I wasn't going to be touching up throughout the night and I wanted it to be visible in the dark arena.

Concert!

The concert it's self oh my! Lawson were amazing and so were the support acts Room 94 and Mike Dignam! We we're three rows from the front and had an amazing view! Room 94 came on first and they we're really good! We got to meet them outside afterwards but I didn't get any pictures :-( Then Mike Dignam came on and he was also brilliant! Afterwards Lawson came on and words cannot describe how amazing they are. The set list included Taking Over Me, Learn To Love Again, Standing In The Dark and a cover of Don't You Worry Child which I loved! I got loads of great pictures as well!
